Author Appeals Policy
At GPEL, we are committed to a fair and transparent editorial process. We acknowledge that authors may occasionally wish to contest decisions regarding educational research.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Misinterpretation of pedagogical methodology or learning data.

Factual inaccuracies in reviewer feedback.

Evidence of procedural errors or reviewer bias.
2. Submission

Timeframe: Within 20 calendar days of the decision.

Format: Formal written letter to the Editor-in-Chief including clear justifications and supporting evidence.
3. Review Process

The Editor-in-Chief conducts an initial assessment.

If needed, the manuscript is sent to a neutral editorial board member or an independent reviewer.

Final Decision: Uphold rejection, invite resubmission, or accept.
4. Limitations: Only one appeal per manuscript is permitted. Appeals with an aggressive tone will be dismissed.
5. Ethical Considerations: Concerns regarding reviewer bias are referred to the Ethics Committee in accordance with COPE guidelines.
