Peer Review Policy

At KIKKR, the peer review process is central to upholding the values of integrity and scholarly excellence in regional multidisciplinary research.

1. 4-Expert Review Model Submissions are evaluated by 2 Internal and 2 External reviewers. This ensures that regional innovations are assessed with the highest international standards of fairness.

2. Workflow and Screening

• Desk Review: Preliminary check for scope and ethical approvals.

• Selection: Reviewers are chosen based on domain expertise and absence of conflicts of interest.

• Revisions: A revision timeline of 2–4 weeks is standard for accepted papers.

3. Appeals Authors may formally appeal a decision to the Editor-in-Chief if they can provide clear justification and evidence for a re-evaluation.

4. Compliance KIKKR strictly adheres to COPE guidelines and HEC Pakistan quality benchmarks.
