Editorial Process
At KIKKR, we are committed to a structured editorial journey that highlights regional innovation while maintaining global academic standards.
1. Manuscript Submission All manuscripts must be submitted through the official KIKKR portal. Submissions must adhere to guidelines regarding regional context, formatting, and ethical requirements.
2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check The editorial office ensures that the manuscript falls within the journal’s regional and multidisciplinary scope and passes plagiarism detection (similarity index must be <15%).
3. Assignment to Section Editor Manuscripts are assigned to editors specializing in regional development, culture, or innovation to evaluate originality and local/global relevance.
4. Double-Blind Peer Review At least two independent reviewers evaluate each submission anonymously based on methodological rigor and the contribution to regional knowledge.
5. Reviewer Recommendations Reviewers provide one of the following: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
6. Editorial Decision The Section Editor delivers a final decision based on reviewer feedback. Authors receive a letter with anonymized comments and revision instructions.
7. Author Revisions Authors are required to revise their work and provide a detailed response to reviewer points within the stipulated timeframe.
8. Final Acceptance Once the manuscript meets all regional and scholarly expectations, a final acceptance letter is issued.
9. Copyediting and Proofreading Accepted papers undergo thorough editing for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
10. Online Publication The article is published online with open access, ensuring global visibility for regional research.
11. Post-Publication Dissemination KIKKR promotes work through institutional networks, regional databases, and social media platforms.
