1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

  • Scope: Manuscripts must present original research or critical reviews in fields relevant to regional innovations, cultural heritage, and local development.

  • Plagiarism: A strict 15% similarity threshold via Turnitin is enforced.

  • Formatting: Submissions must follow KIKKR guidelines, including a structured abstract and proper regional/historical citations.

  • Licensing: Published under CC BY-NC 4.0 to promote the sharing of regional knowledge.

2. Peer Review Policy

  • Double-Blind Review: Confidentiality is maintained for both authors and reviewers; each paper is reviewed by at least two independent experts.

  • Expertise: Reviewers are selected for their deep understanding of the specific socio-economic or innovative context of the region.

3. Editorial Decision-Making

  • Outcomes: Accept, Request Revisions (Minor/Major), or Reject.

  • Revisions: Authors must address reviewer feedback within the allocated timeframe to ensure regional relevance and scholarly depth.

4. Ethical Standards

  • Cultural Ethics: Research involving local communities must include statements on informed consent and cultural sensitivity.

  • Integrity: All contributors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the findings.

5. Post-Publication Policy

  • Archiving: Content is archived in secure repositories to ensure the preservation of regional intellectual heritage.

  • Corrections: Factual errors or ethical concerns discovered after publication will be addressed via formal Corrections or Retractions.
