Author Appeals Policy

EGRQ prioritizes academic fairness and provides a structured process for authors to appeal decisions regarding institutional reform and governance research.

1. Grounds for Appeal

  • Misunderstanding of systemic reform models or institutional governance data.

  • Reviewer feedback containing factual inaccuracies that affected the editorial outcome.

  • Evidence of reviewer bias or procedural errors in the management of the review process.

2. Submission

  • Appeals must be submitted within 20 days, accompanied by a detailed response to the disputed reviewer comments.

3. Review Process

  • Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief.

  • Technical or policy claims may be referred to an independent board member with expertise in educational management.

4. Finality: All appeals must maintain a professional and respectful tone. The decision of the appeals panel is final.
