Editorial Guidelines
ECRL ensures technical excellence and ethical innovation through a rigorous evaluation of all engineering and computing manuscripts.
1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

Scope: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, and Data Science.

Plagiarism: A strict similarity index of <15% is enforced.

Formatting: Manuscripts must follow IMRAD structure and include technical diagrams and data citations.

Licensing: Distributed under CC BY-NC 4.0 to support open-source and technical exchange.
2. Peer Review Policy

Rigor: Double-blind peer review by at least two technical experts in the relevant sub-discipline.

Review Ethics: Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality of all intellectual property within submissions.
3. Editorial Decision-Making

Outcomes: Accept, Revision (Minor/Major), or Reject based on technical validity and originality.

Appeals: Technical disagreements can be appealed to a specialized member of the board.
4. Ethical Standards

Technical Integrity: Research must be replicable; authors are encouraged to share datasets and code.

Authorship: All listed authors must have contributed significantly to the technical design or analysis.
5. Post-Publication Policy

Updates: Significant technical errors discovered post-publication result in a formal Correction notice.

Archiving: ECRL content is digitally preserved to ensure the long-term accessibility of technical innovations.
