Author Appeals Policy
ECRL values technical precision and provides this policy to address concerns regarding the evaluation of engineering and computing research.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Technical misjudgments concerning engineering design, software validity, or data integrity.

Factual errors in reviewer feedback regarding industry standards or technical proofs.

Evidence of procedural errors or reviewer bias in specialized computing fields.
2. Submission

Appeals must be submitted within 20 days, accompanied by technical evidence or additional data clarifications.
3. Review Process

Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief.

Technical claims may be referred to an independent technical reviewer with no prior involvement in the submission.
4. Finality: All appeals must maintain a professional tone. The decision of the appeals panel is final.
