Peer Review Policy

JSSCS safeguards sociological integrity through a rigorous evaluation of all submitted community-based research.

1. 4-Expert Blind Review Every manuscript is reviewed by 4 Experts (2 Internal & 2 External). This ensures that findings are free from personal or institutional bias.

2. Selection and Criteria Reviewers are chosen for subject-area specialization. They evaluate for originality, methodological rigor, and validity of social findings.

3. Timeline and Workflow Review typically takes 4–6 weeks. Authors receive detailed reviewer comments to help improve the final quality of the work.

4. Ethics Adherence to COPE and HEC Pakistan benchmarks is mandatory for all reviewers and editorial staff.
