Decision-Making Process

JHBRR maintains a strict decision-making framework to ensure that medical and biological research meets the highest evidence-based standards.

1. Initial Submission Screening

  • Screening: Verification of medical scope, clinical trial registration, and the 15% plagiarism limit.

  • Ethical Check: Ensuring all human or animal research includes documented IRB approvals.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Assignment: Double-blind evaluation by two or more specialists in the specific biomedical field.

  • Criteria: Methodological validity, statistical accuracy, and clinical significance.

3. Editorial Evaluation and Final Decision

  • Synthesis: Handling editors reconcile peer comments, prioritizing patient safety and scientific integrity.

  • Final Decision: Accept, Minor/Major Revisions, or Reject.

4. Revisions and Resubmission

  • Data Integrity: Authors must provide point-by-point responses to all data-related queries from reviewers.

5. Appeals: Appeals are reviewed by an independent panel to ensure a fair grievance process for researchers.

6. Post-Acceptance: High-resolution medical figures and signed copyright agreements are required.

7. Ethical Oversight: Strict enforcement of the Declaration of Helsinki and data transparency.
