Correction & Retraction Policy

Correction & Retraction Policy JHBRR recognizes the critical importance of accuracy in biomedical research and follows a strict protocol for corrections and retractions.

1. Types of Corrections

  • Erratum: For publisher formatting/production issues.

  • Corrigendum: For substantive author errors in data or analysis.

2. Retraction Grounds Misconduct (falsification), ethical violations (human/animal research breaches), or critical flaws that render findings unreliable will result in immediate investigation and potential retraction.

3. Transparency All retracted works are marked in all formats and indexed in databases like DOAJ and Crossref to ensure the medical community is aware of the withdrawal.
