JHBRR recognizes the importance of medical evidence and offers a transparent pathway for authors to contest decisions based on perceived scientific or procedural inaccuracies.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Misinterpretation of clinical data, statistical significance, or biomedical methodology.

Factual errors in reviewer comments that influenced the rejection.

Documented evidence of reviewer bias or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
2. Submission

Appeal must be submitted within 20 days, including specific citations of the reviewer comments and supporting medical data.
3. Review Process
