Correction & Retraction Policy

AEPR is committed to preserving the credibility and accuracy of economic research. Corrections and retractions ensure the scientific record remains a trustworthy foundation for policy-making.

  • Corrections: We distinguish between Errata (production errors) and Corrigenda (author-initiated factual corrections). These are linked to the original article and indexed for traceability.

  • Retractions: Articles are retracted if validity is compromised by research misconduct (falsification, plagiarism) or critical methodological flaws. Retracted articles remain accessible but are watermarked as RETRACTED for transparency.

  • Ethical Standards: AEPR strictly adheres to COPE guidelines and HEC Pakistan quality benchmarks.
