Peer Review Policy

URSDJ is committed to publishing high-quality research on spatial and social transformations through a fair and thorough review process.

1. Double-Blind Peer Review We utilize a 4-expert model (2 Internal & 2 External reviewers) to promote impartiality. Reviewer and author identities remain confidential at all times.

2. Reviewer Conduct Reviewers must provide objective, constructive feedback and strictly avoid any form of discrimination or bias.

3. Workflow

  • Screening: Scope alignment and plagiarism check using Turnitin.

  • Review: Focuses on relevance to urban/rural dynamics and ethical considerations.

  • Decision: Final decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief.

4. Recognition URSDJ values its reviewers and publishes an annual list of contributors (with consent) to honor their service.
