Author Appeals Policy

TPT prioritizes fairness and clinical accuracy, allowing authors to appeal decisions that may have been influenced by procedural or interpretative errors.

1. Grounds for Appeal

  • Misinterpretation of clinical data or psychological frameworks.

  • Factual inaccuracies in reviews that impacted the outcome.

  • Evidence of bias against specific therapeutic models.

2. Submission

  • Formal appeal to the Editor-in-Chief within 20 days, ensuring a professional and respectful tone.

3. Review Process

  • Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief, followed by potential consultation with a clinical ethics advisor.

4. Timeline: Appeals are typically resolved within 4–8 weeks to ensure a thorough and ethical investigation.

5. Finality: The decision of the appeal review is final. Only one appeal per manuscript is allowed.
