TPT prioritizes fairness and clinical accuracy, allowing authors to appeal decisions that may have been influenced by procedural or interpretative errors.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Misinterpretation of clinical data or psychological frameworks.

Factual inaccuracies in reviews that impacted the outcome.

Evidence of bias against specific therapeutic models.
2. Submission

Formal appeal to the Editor-in-Chief within 20 days, ensuring a professional and respectful tone.
3. Review Process

Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief, followed by potential consultation with a clinical ethics advisor.
4. Timeline: Appeals are typically resolved within 4–8 weeks to ensure a thorough and ethical investigation.
5. Finality: The decision of the appeal review is final. Only one appeal per manuscript is allowed.
