1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts must pass a Turnitin check with a similarity index <15%.

  • Formatting: Must include institutional affiliation, research methodology, and data availability declarations.

  • Licensing: Distributed under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

2. Peer Review Policy

  • Rigor: A double-blind peer review process ensures impartial evaluation of scientific data and conservation claims.

  • Timeline: Reviewers are requested to submit reports within 2 to 4 weeks.

3. Editorial Decision-Making

  • Outcomes: Based on peer input, the team decides to accept, request revisions, or reject.

  • Appeals: Authors may appeal a rejection by providing a detailed scientific rebuttal to the Editor-in-Chief.

4. Ethical Standards
