Author Appeals Policy
At HEISJ, we prioritize technical accuracy and fairness. We provide a structured process for authors to appeal decisions that may stem from technical misinterpretations or procedural errors.
1. Grounds for Appeal
-
Misinterpretation of algorithmic logic, data processing, or intelligent system methodology.
-
Factual errors in reviewer feedback regarding technical benchmarks or software applications.
-
Evidence of reviewer bias or conflict of interest in the tech-academic domain.
2. Submission
-
Timeframe: Within 20 calendar days of notification.
-
Format: Formal letter to the Editor-in-Chief with a clear technical justification.
3. Review Process
-
Initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief.
-
If complex technical claims are made, a neutral board member with relevant technical expertise will be consulted.
4. Ethical Oversight: Any claims of technical sabotage or intellectual property bias are referred to the Ethics Committee.
