GPPAR upholds rigorous confidentiality standards to protect the integrity of public administration and political policy research.

1. Confidentiality of Manuscripts

  • Privileged Materials: Editors must not share unpublished policy analyses or governance models for any purpose other than editorial evaluation.

  • Prohibition: Use of unpublished data for personal academic benefit or sharing it with governmental or private agencies is strictly forbidden.

2. Peer Review Protections

  • Anonymity: Identities are hidden to prevent external influence or political pressure during the review phase.

  • Correspondence: All communications regarding editorial decisions and reviewer feedback are confidential.

3. Data Protection

  • System Security: Only authorized editorial staff may access the submission management system.

  • Rejected Work: Materials from rejected manuscripts—including reviews—remain confidential and must be deleted.
