Peer Review Policy

GMBS is dedicated to publishing impactful, original research in sustainable business. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure methodological soundness and ethical integrity.

1. Review Model: 4-Expert Blind Review

  • Panel: 2 Internal & 2 External reviewers specializing in green management.

  • Anonymity: Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure manuscripts are evaluated solely on scholarly merit, free from bias.

2. Peer Review Workflow

  • Initial Screening: The editorial team assesses scope alignment, formatting compliance, and performs a mandatory plagiarism check.

  • Review Criteria: Focuses on originality, theoretical grounding, and practical relevance to sustainable business strategies.

3. Editorial Decision The timeframe for review is typically 4–6 weeks. Recommendations include: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

4. Ethical Standards GMBS adheres strictly to COPE guidelines and HEC Pakistan’s publishing benchmarks.
