Decision-Making Process

GMBS upholds a transparent process to ensure that research on sustainable business practices is innovative and ethically reported.

1. Initial Submission Screening

  • Relevance: The editor assesses if the work provides actionable insights for green corporate strategy.

2. Peer Review Process

  • Assignment: At least two independent reviewers with expertise in sustainable management.

  • Criteria: Originality, research design, and the validity of environmental impact claims.

3. Editorial Evaluation and Final Decision

  • Consolidation: Handling editors reconcile comments to provide clear developmental feedback to authors.

4. Revisions and Resubmission

  • Business Impact: Revisions should strengthen the connection between management theory and sustainable outcomes.

5. Appeals: Evaluated by the Editorial Board to maintain a fair and inclusive environment.

6. Post-Acceptance: Final revised manuscripts must include high-resolution charts and author affiliations.

7. Ethical Oversight: Zero tolerance for "greenwashing" or data manipulation in environmental reporting.
