Author Appeals Policy
GMBS ensures that every sustainable business research manuscript receives a fair trial, providing an appeals process for contested editorial outcomes.
1. Grounds for Appeal
-
Misinterpretation of sustainability metrics, corporate strategy analysis, or environmental data.
-
Factual inaccuracies in reviewer reports that affected the final decision.
-
Evidence of reviewer bias or unreported institutional conflicts of interest.
2. Submission
-
Authors must submit a formal appeal within 20 calendar days, including a point-by-point response to the disputed feedback.
3. Review Process
-
The Editor-in-Chief conducts a full review of the package.
-
A neutral editorial board member may be invited to provide a fresh perspective on the sustainability claims.
4. Resolution: The decision may be upheld, or the author may be invited to resubmit a revised version for further review.
