Peer Review Policy

ELGI is committed to publishing impactful research that informs policy and governance through a fair and thorough review process.

1. Double-Blind Peer Review We utilize a 4-expert model (2 Internal & 2 External reviewers) to promote impartiality. Reviewer and author identities are kept confidential at all times.

2. Reviewer Conduct Reviewers must provide objective, constructive feedback and maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript content.

3. Workflow

  • Screening: Scope alignment and plagiarism check.

  • Review: Focuses on policy relevance and theoretical grounding.

  • Decision: The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

4. Recognition ELGI values its reviewers and provides an annual list of contributors and certificates of recognition.
