Author Appeals Policy

ELGI maintains a fair and inclusive environment for interdisciplinary research, allowing authors to appeal decisions to preserve scholarly integrity.

1. Grounds for Appeal

  • Misunderstanding of legal frameworks, economic models, or governance theories.

  • Reviewer feedback containing factual errors regarding statutes, policies, or data sources.

  • Evidence of procedural failure or lack of neutrality in the peer review process.

2. Submission

  • Formal written appeal addressed to the Editor-in-Chief via the official journal portal within 20 days.

3. Review Process

  • The Editor-in-Chief reviews the appeal and may seek advice from a neutral board member specializing in the relevant legal or economic discipline.

4. Limitations: Only one appeal per manuscript; aggressive or repetitive appeals are not entertained.
