Author Appeals Policy
ELGI maintains a fair and inclusive environment for interdisciplinary research, allowing authors to appeal decisions to preserve scholarly integrity.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Misunderstanding of legal frameworks, economic models, or governance theories.

Reviewer feedback containing factual errors regarding statutes, policies, or data sources.

Evidence of procedural failure or lack of neutrality in the peer review process.
2. Submission

Formal written appeal addressed to the Editor-in-Chief via the official journal portal within 20 days.
3. Review Process

The Editor-in-Chief reviews the appeal and may seek advice from a neutral board member specializing in the relevant legal or economic discipline.
4. Limitations: Only one appeal per manuscript; aggressive or repetitive appeals are not entertained.
