At PPPT, we maintain a rigorous workflow to ensure agricultural and plant science research meets global standards.
1. Manuscript Submission Submission occurs via the PPPT portal with strict adherence to agricultural research guidelines.
2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check We verify scope (plant science/pathology) and conduct a Turnitin check (must be <15%).
3. Assignment to Section Editor Editors assess the manuscript for methodological soundness and practical agricultural application.
4. Double-Blind Peer Review Two experts evaluate the submission on originality, research design, and ethical treatment of plant data.
5. Reviewer Recommendations Reviewers suggest: Accept, Minor/Major Revisions, or Reject.
6. Editorial Decision Authors are notified of the decision and provided with anonymized expert feedback.
7. Author Revisions A point-by-point response is required for all revised manuscripts.
8. Final Acceptance Issued after the final editorial review of the improved manuscript.
9. Copyediting and Proofreading Detailed editing for clarity and consistency is performed prior to the final author approval.
10. Online Publication Open-access publication occurs in the next scheduled monthly issue.
11. Post-Publication Dissemination PPPT shares research through institutional networks and citation alerts to maximize reach.
