Author Appeals Policy
PPPT provides a pathway for authors to contest decisions to maintain the integrity of agricultural and plant science scholarship.
1. Grounds for Appeal

Technical misjudgments regarding agricultural methodology or pathology results.

Reviewer feedback containing factual inaccuracies about plant species or treatments.

Evidence of editorial bias.
2. Submission

A written appeal must be sent to the Editor-in-Chief within 20 calendar days.
3. Review Process

The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the package and may reconsult the original reviewers or invite independent reviewers with no prior involvement.
4. Resolution: Outcome may result in upholding the rejection or inviting a revised resubmission.
5. Ethics: Cases of suspected reviewer misconduct are investigated according to international ethical standards for agricultural research.
