Author Appeals Policy

PPPT provides a pathway for authors to contest decisions to maintain the integrity of agricultural and plant science scholarship.

1. Grounds for Appeal

  • Technical misjudgments regarding agricultural methodology or pathology results.

  • Reviewer feedback containing factual inaccuracies about plant species or treatments.

  • Evidence of editorial bias.

2. Submission

  • A written appeal must be sent to the Editor-in-Chief within 20 calendar days.

3. Review Process

  • The Editor-in-Chief evaluates the package and may reconsult the original reviewers or invite independent reviewers with no prior involvement.

4. Resolution: Outcome may result in upholding the rejection or inviting a revised resubmission.

5. Ethics: Cases of suspected reviewer misconduct are investigated according to international ethical standards for agricultural research.
